Self-Care for Job Seekers

Needless to say, during my job search I have dealt with my fair share of stress. The whole process is nothing but stress. From finding the best job sites, to fine tuning your resume, prepping the perfect cover letter, submitting numerous applications all the way down to the email that lets you know whether to get a new interview suit or make a U-turn and start the process all over again.  It's a long journey filled with STRESS!  I have found the best way to deal with stress is not by surpressing it but by letting it out and refocusing it on a productive task.

1-Talking with my boyfriend, family and friends

2-Spending time with my dog

3-Yoga (I use a app on my phone)

4-Getting my nails done

5-Watching Reruns (at times watching a series I dont have to focus on is the best)

6-Working Out 

7-Treating Myself to a hair day

8-Cleaning The House 

9-Doing a puzzle

10-Free Writing 

11-Applying AGAIN! Yes, it seems redundant to apply after applying but until you get what you want you gotta keep at it!
